On Nov 16, Willie's provided a catered lunch and warm, embracing space for us to hold a funeral reception/lunch.
I can't say enough about how Ian and the staff came through for us this week. With only 3 days notice, Ian pulled together both his team and suppliers, and provided us with an amazing space and a truly exceptional lunch, with both hot and cold offerings, and scrumptious desserts.
It's been decades since I've been at Willie's, having moved out of London, but the quality of the food and service has not changed in all of these years. I highly recommend Willie's for any catering needs you may have, and for regular meals or a nice place for a coffee and a treat as well.
Thank you, Ian and team. Your professionalism, and your kindness, made a hard day so much better.
From our family to yours....
Such good, high quality food! I got the portobello and swiss breakfast sandwich and it was absolutely mind blowing! Delicious and perfectly balanced. The espresso mayo intrigued me from the start. It did not disappoint with just a subtle bit of earthiness, but no overwhelming coffee flavour. And don't get me started on the bread.... I had to ask the owner (who is so kind and welcoming) about it because I've never had anything so perfect.
If you are even considering trying this place, I am telling you it is 10000% worth it!!
I went there on a whim and got the triple B melt, (bacon, beef, blue cheese, and fried onion) and it was the single most perfect sandwich ever made. I mean seriously. The staff was so friendly to me and I left there feeling better about myself then when I entered. On top of that, it had a great atmosphere and a view of some true old east energy.
Delicious fresh brewed coffee. Quiet vibe with comfortable seating, plank floors, and florals all around. I would recommend more dairy free or vegan options to attract a greater clientele base. Even a few board games may help. Thanks for a solid cappuccino on a Friday morning.
I’m here right now!
My first time! Coffee (trying the Bee’s knees: honey, lavender, espresso), is great, my egg cupcake thingy is amazing. Spacious with plenty of outlets for a phone charger or laptop.
Lots of menu items including a freezer of frozen goodies to take home.
I’ll be back sooner rather than later.
What a great little cafe hidden in the Old East Village.
Prices are a little expensive but the food was fantastic. There were all kind of options and believe it or not when I asked for gluten free options the employee said that they can make anything gluten free.
The staff were pleasant to speak with and only provided an amazing experience.

Thank you, Ian, for your hospitality and consistently delicious food. We throughly enjoyed our lunch, complete with homemade strawberry lemonade and a macaroon. Anyone interested in having a party or corporate meeting catered, call Ian!
Stopped in for a coffee to go while I had a wait for the Adelaide, staff was kind and warm when they greated me , joked and engaged through service and wished me a pleasant day, the interaction wasn't just your average transaction, it made me feel like "one of regulars" and they will definitely have my buisness back based on there kind and thoughtful service and the coffee is spectacular
Great food, very friendly and caring staff. This little whole in the wall cafe is a great place to grab a bite and enjoy your morning.
Love the Caesar salad here! The dressing - which I’m guessing is homemade - is delicious. Also enjoyed the bacon and corn chowder. All the baked goods I’ve tried have been delicious too! Food is ready quickly. Definitely would recommend and will be returning!
